Summary
Vladimir Dracula has played the part expected of him, stuck in meetings, politics, being dragged around like a rag doll to deal with all the small issues put before him as grand high vampire. He decides that he no longer wants to stay. Leaving means freedom, leaving means a chance to do something he wants.
So that's what he does.

Summary
Sometimes a life shatters alongside the shards of glass, the motels and houses he shared a room with his mother in. Listening to her sing or whisper a name, his name. Fingers always gentle and life was different but it was Dennis', until it wasn't.
His life was so free, full of stories on long car journeys and the way she pressed her fingers to her necklace when she said his name. That golden symbol threaded through with a silver chain.
The bubble always pops, just sometimes it's shattered glass and blood soaked.

Summary
With age comes wisdom, and Dennis knows this well. His brothers may have been heartless to the youngest of the Whitaker boys, but after spending years off the farm, building their own lives and tragedies, they eventually came around. Bridges unburnt, second chances, all that jazz.
Dennis was just happy he'd have a chance at the family he'd never known.
But God's plan works in mysterious and cruel ways. They're taken from him.
Whitaker doesn't deal with it.

Summary
After the collapse of the Cody family in Oceanside, California, Andrew “Pope” Cody disappears into witness protection and rebuilds himself as Dr Jack Abbot, a trauma doctor working night shifts at The Pitt in Pittsburgh.
For years, the new identity almost works until a gunshot victim from California recognises him in the trauma bay and brings the violent ghosts of Oceanside crashing back into his carefully controlled life.
