“Y/N! Viktor!” A voice calls sharply.
Your head snaps up, and you see Commissioner Mel Medarda walk into the bullpen with a thick file in hand. She looks angry.
You sit up a little straighter. Another case?
“Yeah, Commissioner?” You ask.
“I want you and Viktor in the debrief room, now,” She calls as she walks towards the debriefing room.
OR
Y/N and Viktor are detectives who get assigned to a case together. Neither is happy about it.

You barely notice as the rest of the lecture hall slowly fills, lost in your music and art. You’re working on your version of Scylla when the weird feeling that’s been happening in the back of your head for the past few months starts up again.
“Oi mate, that’s proper creepy. What is it?”
You startle and glance up from your sketchbook to see a tall boy settle into the seat next to you. He has dark skin and big hair, and at least half a dozen piercings on his face. His outfit screams “punk rocker”, complete with a studded leather jacket covered in hand sewn patches. He carefully lays a guitar case, equally covered in patches, at his feet and throws his worn backpack carelessly on the floor.

Y/N meets Hobie Brown (and Miguel O'Hara) on her first day of class.

Following the aftermath of Dylan Shrike getting caught and sent to a Russian Supermax the Horsemen disbands and Lula May breaks up with him, leaving a now twenty-two-year-old Jack Wilder to face the world alone once more. Washed up from going corporate and being a cheap party trick the once renowned magician settles in Portland, Oregon, where he happens to drown his sorrows at a bar owned by a team of world class thieves.
Set for new adventures, Jack decides to cut his losses and try his hand at a different kind of magic. A kind of magic even J. Daniel Atlas couldn't see coming.
Or: I take creative liberties about what Jack Wilder was up to during the 10 year time skip between NYSM 2 & 3 and pretend like it aligns with Leverage canon.
