-prose was on-point; the descriptions of the events during the eclipse never veered into being too graphic or gory
-guts' rape was handled with tact; the parallels to when he was sexually assaulted as a child made it much more heartbreaking
-black swordswoman!casca serves as a great foil for canonical!guts and broken!guts (this story's guts)
-so many banger lines in this fic
-non-linear narrative used to present an interesting take on the lost children arc
