If I had to give an opinion on Mephone, I would say the guy was quite alright. I had found the host annoying during season one, but now I was co-hosting, Mephone was quite growing on me.
He wasn't all that bad to work with.

Summary
Mephone and OJ get drunk with 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒘. They play seven minutes in heaven, which very conveniently leads to Mephone and OJ in a closet together. I think you can see where this is going.
Mephone couldn't help but be aware of how close they were right now. He also couldn't help but wonder if OJ was a good kisser. Poor bastard has probably never kissed anyone in his life. He noticed OJ kept glancing up at his lips, then shuffling.

Mephone was full-on sobbing now. Loud, ugly sobs clawing their way out, waves of desperate heaves, choked emotions hurtling out in screeches. He buried his head in deeper, curled in further. He looked so small, so human. It was unlike the Mephone he was used to on the show, the forced bravado, the constant jokes, the bragging.

It's raining. Mephone is feeling lonely, so he goes for a walk.
The forest was gloomy, and the smell of damp soil and rain was permeating the air. Mephone listened as the ground below his feet squelched and crunched, a constant rhythm that soon enough became comforting in its familiarity. The shower from the sky bathed and cleansed him, and the unrelenting pattering was a soothing noise.

OJ's arm is slung around his shoulder, and their bodies are touching, Mephone curling into the man's side. Despite the cold, he feels warm inside.
Looking up at the sky, Mephone acknowledges how pretty it is. A pitch blackness, fading into deep purples. Stars peppered and sprayed in patches and sprinkles, glowing gently.

Summary
A big problem of Mephone's: he snaps when he's stressed. And he tends to get stressed often. Every single thing seems annoying and load and overbearing when he's nervous. So he gets mean.
Mephone, head in palm, was pacing around, the dry grass and flimsy daisies brushing against his black shoes that really needed polishing. The man's face was scrunched up, muscles taut and his strides clunky.
The contestants were stood before him, their silence stetching strained like a string at the verge of snapping suddenly.

"I'm sorry" wasn't enough. Cobs had said that many times, while wiping the blood of Mephone's face, while trying to pick back up the words that had left his mouth. But wiping the blood doesn't make the cut go away. Picking the words back up doesn't change the fact that you dropped them.
