Agron's mind was plagued with doubts of finding Nasir. Spartacus' words held true. They had no knowledge that Nasir was still alive. All he knew was that the man had been sent to the mines.
He had sworn to Nasir that he would find him, rescue him from that hell. All Nasir had to do was hold hope. It was a lot to ask of one trapped in the mines. Though Nasir was stronger than most and he would survive.
AU in which Nasir was taken to the mines and Agron decides to rescue him.

Summary
Harry walked through the Forbidden Forest, mind numb, still shaken by what he had seen in Snape’s memories. He stumbled over unseen roots and dips in the ground, but kept moving forward.
As he drew near, he folded the cloak under his shirt. Placed his wand up his sleeve and dropped the stone in his pocket, not being able to bring himself to let go of the scant comfort of his loved ones being near.
‘I was, it seems . . . mistaken,’ said Voldemort.
‘You weren’t.’

When Harry appears in the Limbo of Kings Cross, this time he is not alone. Voldemort appears with him, but it is the Voldemort Harry remembers from the Diary. Instead of a dead Dumbledore however, they are approached by a figure in black.
‘Ah, my boys,’ came a disembodied voice, cold and rasping across their senses. ‘Finally I have you both here before me.’
Harry stared at the black figure in front of him. He glanced at Tom and saw the fear in the boy. ‘You would be Lord Death then?’ he asked calmly. ‘Lovely to meet you finally.’

Everyone assumes Xie Lian had died in the fire which took the life of everyone he held dear. Until an unexpected encounter with Xie Lian’s cousin changes everything.

Xie Lian never seemed to be fully aware of his charms, but they pulled Hua Cheng to him like a magnet now. Hua Cheng wanted to worship Xie Lian from top to bottom, to ravish him, to kiss him hard, to lovingly take him apart until he cried. Hua Cheng's expression might have revealed those urges as he drew close; he could clearly see the nervous bob of Xie Lian's throat, yet Xie Lian didn't hesitate to tilt his chin upwards to hold his gaze, baring his neck further. Pale and pristine, it had been far too long since Xie Lian's skin got properly littered with Hua Cheng's love marks. The longing reflected in Xie Lian's doe eyes confirmed that he agreed.
"I'm sorry I've been so busy. I never meant to leave you unattended." Hua Cheng's fingertips stroked just behind Xie Lian's earlobe, skimming down to where the deep collar of the shirt began. He idly toyed with the ruffles there. "You've been so patient. Will you let me make it up to you?"
A small shiver ran through Xie Lian's body. As if he didn't trust his own voice, he simply nodded.
Hua Cheng's lips curled as he leaned in. "Good boy."
