Some of them are gods. Some of them are soldiers. Some of them are monsters. Some of them are nobody in particular. The bar treats them the same. Same rules. Same price. No bother. The prawns are fresh.
The floors are always sticky. The Guinness sign is in the correct position. The torii between the two rooms is cedar.
Nobody touches it. Nobody needs to be told why.

He attends conventions, chats with people on social media, has even written a couple books, but generally, he sees his hero days as behind him. Until he's approached by an eager young man named Grian, who dreams of being the hero Poultry Man and wants Scar to train him. Hesitant, Scar gives him some pointers, and when he sees potential in Grian's powers, he agrees to mentor him. He just hopes the impulsive lad won't get himself into too much trouble before he's ready.
