Summary
In the wake of the battle for Piltover, with Jayce and Viktor gone and Ambessa defeated, Caitlyn and Vi are left to deal with the aftermath. Grieving the loss of her sister, Vi suddenly finds herself without purpose and must find a way to live for herself, rather than for those she cares about. Caitlyn, meanwhile, finds herself spread thin, responsible for setting up a new government while also investigating the hextech disaster. They are from worlds as different as oil and water: worlds which threaten to pull them apart.
In the midst of everything, a shadow falls over the twin cities. Something is stalking the streets of Piltover and lurking in the alleys of Zaun. Their meeting had seemed bound by fate, but now Caitlyn and Vi find their paths leading them in different directions. Will they be able to come together in time, or will they find themselves isolated and hunted?

"What do you want to do?"
Now that (almost) all the secrets are out among the Forgers, a simple question reminds Twilight, yet again, that he lost himself to the past.
He has no idea what he likes. He's spent so much time molding himself into the image of what others want him to be that--despite all his recent progress--he still has no real idea who he is.
One solution comes to Yor's mind. How about spending time with other people, and seeing why they like what they do? There's no better way to understand yourself than try to understand others. Besides, she still isn't entirely sure how to appear normal--doing things typical people do might help with that.
(In which Yor and Loid go on "double dates" with just about every other ship in the series, more Forger family fluff, and other shenanigans-- and more things are discovered than *just* what Loid likes.)
Technically in a series, but this one is especially standalone: All you really need to know is that it's set post-Forger family reveals, pre-Strix conclusion, all else will be discussed. I just wanted excuses to write more of these two in love.
Spoilers, this is canon divergent post 120 but refs up thru 136.

There was barely any pause before Vi opened her mouth. She could hear part of her brain screaming 'no, stop, bad idea, shut the fuck up dipshit' but she ignored it like she always had.
"You don't have to. You know- hire a stranger."
Caitlyn looked at her quizzically. Am I really about to say this?
"I can be your blood bag, if you want."

Not the curse it once was- by the 21st century, vampirism had mutated into an inconvenient infection.
Due to their hunger being volatile and, if unsated, potentially fatal for the infected, vampires usually hired a professional "blood bag" to be by their side 24/7 during the months- sometimes years- it took for the illness to pass.
So when Caitlyn catches it, Vi doesn't hesitate to take up the role. Anything to help her best friend until she recovers.
