Summary
In a newly restored Lumiere, Verso settles into his new life with Gustave and begins to live again after a century of hardship and sorrow. The path, however is not an easy one, as people come with many different things to share. Most noticable of all is germs.
And Verso, after being immortal, has the immune system of a newborn.

Summary
Gustave babysits Verso Dessendre as a teenager through his High School years.
Eventually, though, Verso decides that he is too old for Gustave, and they drift apart, even though they spent hours talking about trains every single day for years on years.
Years later, when their paths happen to cross again thanks to the meddling of his friends and family, Gustave is surprised to find that not only does Verso remember him - there's a spark that wasn't there before. One that... well. He's not about to let slip through his fingers.
