Summary
Bachelor life isn't so bad - at least, that's the lie that Harry Potter keeps telling himself. He's in his mid-twenties, survived a war, and has a comfortable job even though he's wealthy enough to retire. He doesn't have much to complain about - except for the fact that his best friends are constantly at each other's throats as they fail to make their relationship work. When things do fracture, a bizarre coincidence ends up bringing Harry and Hermione closer together - and it's not magic that's responsible. Instead, they find themselves both invited to the same wedding. Both cousins to the bride and groom respectively. May the hijinks ensue.

Waking up from a seven-year coma, Harry slowly pieces together that the world he abandoned was very messed up. He chose to die after he killed Voldemort, the longing for his parents stronger than his will to live. His choice to die along with Voldemort seemingly had backfired as his friends and comrades lost their way. Years later, he finds himself in a lot of pain and in a body again. Then he discovers that Hermione is the Minister and that the world has drastically changed in his absence. The world does not wait.
