Summary

Henry lets out a terrible, wheezing croaking sound.
It takes Hans too long to realise that he’s laughing.
When he captures Henry after the fateful duel with Erik, Markvart von Aulitz gives Zizka an ultimatum: hand over the silver, or Henry starts losing fingers.
Weeks later, when Hans rides back to Suchdol with the might of an army behind him, he finds Henry in a state far worse than Von Aulitz's threats implied.
With Henry's recovery on the line, Hans vows to find out how things went so wrong so quickly.

The Lord of Leipa paused, hands gripping tighter on his ward.
‘Well. You’re going to learn your place.’
*Lord Hanush thinks of a different way to punish Henry and Hans Capon for brawling in the tavern towards the start of KCD1 events. Instead of accompanying Sir Hans on a hunting trip as his page, Henry instead finds himself the prey: a whipping boy for the spoilt and defiant heir of Rattay.
Henry soon wishes his punishment was merely a flogging at the town square. He wishes it was only his imagination, too, the way Lord Hanush’s dark eyes glint at the sound of Henry’s undoing composure, as if it were a sweet song.

Certainly not a delusional stranger barging into his life, claiming to be Prince Hans Capon of Pirkstein and turning everything upside down.
