Summary
It wasn't that Heathcliff considered Sinclair himself to be a vice of his, and honestly it wasn't even his fault that their section was so constantly getting things delivered through the Devyat. Really, the break from the never-ending pile of paperwork that seemed to only grow whenever he dared to look away from it, was more than appreciated.
That being said—
"Oh, Heathcliff! Just you again tonight?"
It was just impossible to keep Sinclair out of his thoughts while behind his desk.
It's not weird to fall for your delivery man, right?

Summary
On good days, it's easy to remember that eventually, something lovely and beautiful will blossom from this lonely suffering. That hasn't changed from before you went into your slumber to even now as you greet the horizon on a newly-furbished deck. On bad days...
(Or: How does the Doctor feel, given the nature of the operations they undertake?)

Summary
He hated how she always made him hate her. How she made him want to just stab her in the gut and hack her limbs to tiny shredded pieces. It wasn't fair, how his saviour was the one to always hurt him. His heart was always left broken and left alone in the dark. He hated her. It was a fact.
Right?
Yes, he detested her.
...
So why did he stay by her side? Why did he never fight back? Why did he always run to her, hoping for a treat like a dog wagging its tail? Did he love her? But he hated her. Didn't he? But she was the only one who cared for him. She had to love him. No... she couldn't possibly hate him. She loved him. Yes, yes... she loved him, and he loved her. He would slice his own heart into tiny shreds for her. He would do anything for her. She cared for him. She raised him. She fed him. She loved him.
