Peter Parker died.
He'd lived through a fatal spider bite, the transformation that came from that bite, a shit ton of bullet, knife, explosion etc wounds, a building falling down on him. He'd also lived through a war on another planet, getting quite literally dusted out of existence, and then coming back to fight yet another war. And more, he'd lived through a betrayal of someone he trusted with his life, and lived through death threats, bricks thrown at his windows, temporary homelessness, and villains coming from different dimensions with the sole intention to kill him.
He'd lived through it all.
Until one day, he didn't.
Or,
Peter Parker falls through a portal during a fight
And dies.

Summary

Summary
After Kaname’s ‘death’, Zero unexpectedly got a visit from Yuuki a few months later, holding a babe in her arms, and angry tears marking her cheeks. With frustrated words, she hurriedly gave the babe to Zero, for she was, quote on quote, too young to be a single mother, and disappeared.
Five years later, Zero stumbles upon fully awakened Kaname Kuran during one mission. After word got out of Kaname's return, Yuuki comes back declaring she's ready to be a mother again now that Kaname’s finally back.
What will Zero do now that both the parents of the child he raised as his own are back? Yet things are not so simple, life only gets more complicated, and Zero is unfortunately starting to get used to his life going downhill.

Summary
When the war between vampires and hunters broke out, Zero headed for the Kuran mansion to save one particular pureblood. But it wasn't Yuuki he pulled from the flames. It was Kaname.
When Kaname wakes to the ruins of this new world, Zero is still there and so is Aidou. An unexpected family of three survivors, making their way through a wasteland divided between human settlements and vampire strongholds, searching for answers. The peace between their kinds is fragile at best. The war is never far from erupting again.
A slow burn survival story about the things that grow between two people, when they're left with the ruins of the old world.
