Decepticon Rodiclash AU. A Galaxy brain concept from Cao the dreamer.
Early in the war, Hot Rod joins the Decepticons, angry that the Autobots provided precious little assistance to evacuate the citizens of Nyon when Hot Rod burned his own city to ashes to prevent Zeta from using the citizens as fuel for the Functionist war machine.
Confounded by the strict formality within the ranks of the Decepticon army, Hot Rod is fiercely determined to preserve as much Nyonian culture as he can. When an Autobot saves his life during an intense battle, Hot Rod vows to uphold the Nyonian life-bond tradition to save his life in return.

“He pulled me from the rubble like I needed a big fat hero to save me. Like I can’t take care of myself. When Soundwave’s distinct monotone voice announces an absurdly high bounty for a certain Autobot medic listed as missing in action, Deadlock slams the emergency abort launch button. Despite his pain, he has to find Ratchet before anyone else.
