Summary
Luis offers Leon a massage. It seems relatively innocent, for a Luis Serra(™) suggestion. Still, as the tension melts away under Luis's skillful touch, Leon finds his mind wandering. The longer Luis’s hands are on him, the more the growing warmth in his stomach is impossible to ignore. And the more he dreads having to turn around again. It’s just been so long since he’s felt someone close like this…

Summary
(The end is never the end. There's too much blood on too many hands and too many unhappy endings. Six years is a long wait for a grieving mother and a damning curse. It's time for more desperate measures. Perhaps resourcing one of the counselors - as she had watched so many do before - will prove benign. Looks like it's time to save the sole survivor.)
Dylan wakes up in a blind panic, kicking out and falling backward off of the log bench he's sitting on. Maybe it's a bit dramatic, but in his defense, he was just being pinned down in the kitchen, about to get his throat torn out by a goddamn werewolf. Sue him for startling.

Summary
The gloved fingers traced over the letter once more as a sigh of distress left the windchapped lips. He leaned forward, bringing the letter to the flame of the candle that set on the edge of the desk, “As you will it to be, my Queen, so I will make it done for you.”
The words were whispered as the parchment was enveloped by the warmth of the fire, concealing the promise from any eyes by the one who had written it and the one who had received it.

Summary
"In a way, Ryan reminded Dylan of the types of spirits he liked the most: quiet, secretive, a little odd, but still friendly when it mattered. He was like a difficult math problem and Dylan was intent on figuring him out. It didn’t hurt that he was attractive, easily the hottest at camp. Since this was a break from his regular life, Dylan determined a frivolous crush was just a part of the summer fun he was entitled to.
Although, something in him wondered if things wouldn’t be that simple as he sees a familiar misty figure sweep by in the distance through the window of the hut."
***
Or, my take on The Quarry where Dylan is a medium and he gets to know the secret of Hackett's Quarry over the course of the summer while also getting close to his attractive, enigmatic coworker.Bookmarked by Chocoflower
