At least until all of that is interrupted by an annoying fake psychic who thinks he's above fate itself. The bridge crew (and friends) decide to go bowling one night while on shore leave on earth, something Spock isn't that great at. Mix in some chocolate, booze, and competition and relationships are bound to change. They decide to make it a full on competition, playing bowling at every chance they get until the winning team can be crowned. The game is not what worries Spock and Bones though, it's the feelings that seem to come along with it.

It turns out that Mike Wheeler has spent his whole life thinking that everyone under the sun thinks that boys are pretty. Will doesn't really know what to do with that - and Mike doesn't really know what to do with himself when he finds out that it's not true. Emotional turmoil ensues.

“So let me get this straight,” Steve says, crossing his arms and looking at Jonathan, unimpressed. “Your little brother is acting weird – weirder than usual, I should say – and you want my help spying on him to figure out what’s wrong? Why are you asking me?”
He doesn’t say what he’s really thinking: why aren’t you asking Nancy? But judging by the way Jonathan looks away, Steve thinks Jonathan understands regardless.
Jonathan shrugs, looking embarrassed. “You’re just…good with them. The kids, I mean. And I know that Will trusts you.”
In which: Nancy is dating Jonathan, but she's also dating Steve, and Steve may or may not be developing feelings for his girlfriend's other boyfriend.
