Luffy’s voice slices through the quiet like a pebble tossed into still water. Law doesn’t look at him right away; the boy is staring up at the ceiling, his expression unreadable.
“Do you believe in weird dreams?”
Law’s shoulders stiffen.
“What do you mean?”
“Like…” Luffy turns his head slowly, his dark eyes landing on Law with unsettling clarity. “Dreams that don’t really feel like dreams. More like… blurry memories. Of something that never actually happened.”
Or;
For as long as he can remember, Law has been trapped in the same recurring dream, a world of endless seas, pirate ships, and battles beneath blood-red skies. Among the scattered fragments of that dreamscape, there is one constant. Or rather, one person. A flash of light in the shape of a ring. A name that echoes in his mind. A presence that moves through each dream as if etched into his very soul.
Monkey D. Luffy.
He never believed that name belonged to a real person, let alone that he would find him like this: collapsed in the emergency room, unconscious, on the brink of death, and covered in wounds that seem torn straight from Law’s own nightmares.

“Listen carefully. Strawhat-ya has been poisoned with an aphrodisiac.”
On the other side, Shachi immediately choked on whatever he was eating.
“APHRO—?! STRAWHAT WAS POISONED WITH AN APHRODISIAC?!”
or; Law found Luffy under the influence of an aphrodisiac. He intended to help him, but when it came to the Captain of Straw Hat Pirates, nothing ever went according to plan.

“Shishishi, we have the same middle initial. Wonder if we’re related.” The black-haired boy laughs and gods Law hopes they weren’t because the heart stuttering in his chest would be concerning otherwise.
Replying a little breathlessly at the boy in light blue scrubs, Law mumbles, “No, I don’t think so, I’d remember you.”
At this Luffy was once again giggling and Law physically feels his brain start to produce extra amounts of serotonin at the sound, already planning on ways to make more.
“Freud is dancing in his grave,” whispers Bepo, causing Shachi and Penguin to burst out laughing.

Summary
Luffy slides into the booth beside Law when he returns, and he leans over until his lips touch the shell of Law’s ear, “Wanna know a secret, Torao?” His voice is unusually warm and husky, sending a jolt down Law’s spine. “I’m already havin’ fun, but I'm gonna pretend I'm not, ‘cause that seems like fun.” He nips his front teeth teasingly on Law’s earlobe, chuckling softly in that dangerous way he does.
Law takes one of the fresh beers from Luffy and takes a long drink. Dark eyes stay glued on Law the whole time. “Well?” Law drones as he drops the mug to the table, “How do you plan on making me have fun, Straw Hat-ya?”
Luffy’s hand wanders under the table. He grips Law’s upper thigh, and his pinky slides out to brush over Law’s crotch. “You’re already having fun.”

Law tries to spend some quality time with Luffy, Luffy's whims take over entirely. Once again, Law is caught in Straw Hat's antics, and it doesn't even do him any good to complain. He's going to get exactly what he wants, anyway.Series

Summary
Law is a succesful surgeon, a focused and utterly busy man. He does not have time for ridiculous parties his friends so desperately want him to participate in nor for any romantic bullshit he's not even interested in. Or so he thinks. Until he meets one particularly bright ray of sunshine.
Luffy just met the most beautiful man on earth. There's no way he's letting him go. Despite the awkwardly wrong turns he overtakes in the meantime of winning his heart. But hey, what's some missed steps along the way, right?Bookmarked by Chiaracontii
