“C-Childe?” She gasps out at last.
“Yeah?”
“Is the bag of mora payment for that?”
Pause.
He shoots her an incredulous look.
Do you really think I'd do that?
“That's on me–no strings attached.”
Immediately, she hops off–pouch in her hands. He lets out a soft whine in protest
“What happened to our plans?”
“Well, I never agreed.”
It's her turn to smile now.
Pressing a soft, fleeting peck to his cheek,–so close to his mouth it's agonising–she cups his bulge gently, pressing on it as he lets out a deep groan of pleasure. His hand shoots out immediately to keep hers there.
He's too late. She pulls away before he could reach it.
“I suggest you deal with that issue before the next client comes in,” she murmurs before giving him a wink and striding off.
Curse that blasted woman.

There was a toot sound, followed by a sharp pop. The lights turned on, and Childe stopped in his tracks, his blades fizzling out of existence as he watched bits of confetti flying in the air.
A dozen of his subordinates were crammed into the space behind the round table in the center of the room. Strung across the wooden beams was a large banner that read:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MASTER CHILDE!
A variety of food sat on the table—dumplings, noodles, and, his favorite, seafood. Vlad stood in the center, holding a party blower.

They started this with hate fucking after a fairly intense fight in the mountains of Liyue, Childe didn't expect to feel his chest tighten when the light hit her just right and she looked truly angelic.
Lumine traveling has kept them from seeing each other nearly as often as he'd like.
