Summary
This is a story about John and Sherlock's life with Rosie and the other people in their lives that they love. Each chapter is an anecdote about a day of significance in their life. Some are joyous, some are sexy, some are tragic, and some are very sad. But they all emphasize that life is indeed a box of chocolates.
All of the specified dates signify something important that happened to me. All the rest are approximations of instances of the same significance in which the dates escape me.
I'm American. This work is not Brit-picked or Beta'd. All mistakes are mine. I also did my best with medical accuracy and anything to do with London and her locales. It bounces back and forth between the current and the past at the beginning, then settles and works its way forward to the current again.

John Watson is a doctor at the hospital Sherlock keeps ending up in because of his drug problems and abusive boyfriend. They become friends and eventually something more.
This work was written first because I love Johnlock and I think that no matter where John appeared in Sherlock's life, they would have had the same chemistry and same connection. The second reason I wrote this fic was because I just can't get over the line in HLV when Mycroft says "Look what happened to the last one." (referencing his other brother) and plot bunnies have abounded in my head since.
