Summary
There was a time in Wanda Maximoff’s life where she believed that grief was a finite experience — that it held a clean beginning, middle, and end. Sitcoms, story books, even her short-lived stint with the Avengers had led her to believe that problems were always fixed, and heroes always prevailed. She misses this naivety. No, the truth, as Wanda had come to understand it, was that persevering through pain did very little in the way of absolving it. It only gave one thicker skin; and by virtue of this, she’s surprised her’s isn’t made of leather by now.
Inspired by, but not compliant with Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Therefore I feel compelled to put a SPOILER WARNING for those who have not seen the movie yet.
