Summary
Qifrey knows that mixing pleasure and pain is dangerous, but he also knows that he cannot have the former without the latter. He loves Olly too much to drag him into a messy love life on top of everything else.
Easthies feels inexplicably attracted to Qifrey.
They both know it's not love but why shouldn't they use each other for pleasure until they get tired of it?
Spoilers up to chapter 95.
Set between Qifrey's fourth and fifth test. To me, this feels like their (broke?) student days, maybe their early twenties. In my headcanon Easthies is slightly older. Qifrey does not yet wear glasses. I do not write slow burn, I burn the candle on both ends and I aim for maximum emotional damage. To me Orufrey is endgame and Easfrey is delicious, delicious toxic yaoi. I mean look at that dirty look at the very beginning of chapter 50.

In the midst of a vulnerable moment for Qifrey, who had long finished his recovery phase after his life altering surgery and had been able to live the life he had fantasied about for oh so many years with Olruggio, he lets his guard down.
The love of his life becomes a primary victim in a Brimmed Cap attack, although, the attack was not fatal. In no other world would Qifrey even thank them for this. But this time… perhaps this one time…
Or: Olruggio gets turned into a woman (in the name of Forbidden Magic). His perverted husband gets an idea.
