    Holden slammed the door open, rifle in hand and radiating threat. Amos’s scent immediately dropped into something softer, as if trying to placate him. The effort proved fruitless when Holden’s eyes caught on the cuff around Amos’s wrist and the rage in his scent boiled over. Apprehension flickered in the back of Wei’s mind; alphas may be better known for it, but omegas could be just as protective, vicious even in their defense of their pack. If Wei didn’t plan her moves carefully, she could very easily end up with Holden’s teeth in her throat.

    Steve gets insecure when he is drinking and seeing some drunk girl kiss Billy doesn't help.

    “Why don’t you and I go find some place private?” Amber asks words slurring and she smells like she has had at least as much to drink as Steve, moving closer with a laugh. 

    “I think you need to head-” Billy’s words are cut off by Amber crashing her mouth against his, one of the girls from her group of friends giving a wolf whistle.

    “Stevie!” Tommy shouts as Billy is pushing her off of him and into her friends, cursing under his breath as he chases after Steve’s retreating form.

    So it makes perfect sense that they constantly argued too. Usually mundane situations. Things like: “Ugh, Steve! It’s my turn to choose what we watch, enough with the basketball!” and “Eddie, stop leaving your dishes strewn about!” and “No, I’ll pick up everybody and drop them off!” Though, these were quickly resolved. A deep breath taken, a compromise made, and a few warm pecks exchanged.

    However, on a slow Thursday evening in the middle of November, things go haywire."
