    “Because I’m a very selfish man.” With that said, Kisuke pushed him through the portal. Something metallic followed him.

    The last thing he saw before darkness of the portal swallowed him up was Kisuke’s smile. Despite the pale tiredness of his face, his lips were kind, and the smile was almost too bright against the darkness.

    “May safety, happiness, and love find you, Ichigo.”

    Ichigo landed, barely holding himself upright, only to see an active battle field. Adults with powers attacking children, a huge monster beating down a man in all black, and a person with hands all over him reaching to attack a child.

    His body moved before he even thought about it.

    Izuku Midoriya is unlucky, to say the least and life hasn't exactly been kind. Things weren't so bad in the beginning, but once he was diagnosed quirkless, well, it all went to shit. Everyone grew to hate him, even his best friend and own father.

    Was it really that impossible to become a hero without a quirk? It doesn't really matter because to Izuku, the term hero is flexible. He'll be his own hero because he's learnt from his own experience, people are selfish and the only one he can rely on is himself.

    Left alone to fend for himself in the world, Izuku goes out to change things on his own terms, despite his methods being slightly illegal. Keyword, slightly. It's only illegal if he gets caught, right?

    Midoriya’s quirk isn’t what anyone is expecting. That's not to say it’s bad, quite the opposite, it’s just that things are put in a different perspective when you regularly die. Midoriya still dreams of becoming a hero, and when he does- well no one was expecting this.

    Aizawa needs a vacation. All Might doesn’t know how to handle his suicidal successor.
    Bakugou is the only student that isn’t absolutely terrified of this cheerful yet surprisingly deadly hero in training.

    And Midoriya? Well, he’s a little bitch with no regard for personal safety, and someone decided to give him an enhanced strength quirk on top of it.

    AKA Midoriya has an immortality quirk and no one knows how to handle it, including Midoriya himself. Might as well fake it till he makes it. What’s the worst that can happen?
