Summary
Going on a field trip was typically the best part about school. Until that field trip led Midtown High to Stark Industries. The one place in all of New York City that Peter’s classmates and teachers didn’t believe he interned for. When accusations of forgery surface, Peter is facing expulsion from Midtown and a permanent black mark on his record that could make it impossible for him to get into any University. If there was one thing Tony Stark was not going to stand for. It was his kid being called a liar and having his future at risk. One thing is for certain, Midtown High was not prepared for this field trip.

Summary
Peter Parker learns what it means to lose a father figure… again.
One argument. One broken prototype. One boy who walks away.Peter is fifteen. He is fine, right?
After leaving Avengers Tower behind, he stitches his life back together in Queens, pretending the past couple of months don’t hurt. He goes to school, builds Lego sets with Ned, listens to MJ talk about her sketches, and learns how to live without a suit, without a lab, without Tony Stark.
But some wounds don’t heal just because you stop looking at them.
When a school field trip drags Peter back to the Tower, and back into Tony’s orbit, both of them are forced to confront what they broke, what they lost, and whether family is something you can walk away from… or something that always finds its way back.

“If you guys missed me so much, why didn’t you try to contact me?” Peter interrupted, his eyes stinging with tears. “Why didn’t you call? Why didn’t you try to find me if you missed me so badly?”

Tony flicked Harley on the ear before he could go. “If you bring Peter back with an ugly Tennessean accent I will disown you. That is a promise, not a threat.”A smile cracked on Harley’s face. In his thickest drawl, he answered, “don’ you worry abou’ a thang, Anthony. He’ll be safer than a tube sock on prom night.”
Tony blinked. “Not even gonna pretend to know what that means.”
Harley and Peter mounted the stairs in tandem, shoulders pressed tight so that they could fit through the doorway side by side.
Just before stepping across the gap, Peter turned to Harley, a deadpan look on his face. “Did I ever tell you my parents died in a plane crash?” Peter said.
Harley’s jaw dropped but before he could cut in a word Peter clapped his hands together once and said, “Onward, Rose fuckin’ Hill!” marching into the plane without qualm.
