There are a few things George didn’t expect from co-parenting his vampire teammate with Max Verstappen. First, that Max would actually show interest in vampires. “Okay. You’re very drunk,” he pushes Mike off of him gently. Mike’s arms clumsily reach out in an attempt to hold him again. “You know you shouldn’t compliment a gay guy like that. He might get the wrong idea.”
Mike furrows his brows at him. If he was sober, Mike would be able to pick up the sarcasm in his voice, but right now his brain is functioning at an all time low. “Good thing I’m gay then. That’s the idea I want them to have.”or
Will hasn't talked to Mike for two years. He's happily living his life at college in San Diego. Max's dad just so happens to have a beach house in the same place. So she brings them all on vacation.

Summary
Mike Wheeler is a journalism student with a part-time job at the Daily Bugle and a growing obsession with New York’s newest hero: Spider-Man.
Will Byers is just trying to get through college, pay rent, and also happens to be the one swinging across the skyline at night.
They meet at a party. They become friends. It would be simpler for everyone involved if it stayed that way.
But Mike keeps searching for Spider-Man, and Will keeps hiding in plain sight - caught somewhere between wanting to be seen and being terrified of what happens if he is.And when something in the city starts to break, something strong enough to tear it apart, Will has to wonder if being Spider-Man is going to cost him everything.
