Summary
Inuyasha had a lot of ideas of how he was going to spend Halloween. A warm night by the fire with some pumpkin spice tea. Perhaps watching some nostalgic movies with Kagome curled against him on the couch.
Wearing fur panties with his left nut hanging out was not one of them.
Now the phrase often goes, 'Happy Wife, Happy Life', and Inuyasha was soon to learn that this was, in fact, the truth. And so, despite his unwillingness to participate, Inuyasha had no choice, but to agree to Kagome's request. Had he known what that request would entail, perhaps he would have put up a bit more of a fight.

Extended Timeline Canon: After a battle, both injured, Kagome and Inuyasha seek shelter from a storm in a cave hardly large enough for the both of them. In dressing one another's injuries, the vibe changes dramatically and they have a "conversation" they've been needing to have for a while now.

The shard hunt...the battle with Naraku...it was only the beginning.
Their past held a terrible prophecy. Her future, the terrifying result. Kagome had finally been allowed to return through the well...but it wasn't luck that granted her wish.
The red threads of fate had always tied them all together, had always guided them towards each other. Now, as new powers are revealed and souls are healed, their destiny becomes clear.
Theirs is a quest that requires everything they have to give.
Theirs is a battle they cannot afford to lose.
