Summary
This is set after Carry On and before Wayward Son. I have not read Wayward Son yet (I am waiting until I finish this short fic).
This is exploring Simon’s relationship and insights into learning self compassion and healing. Mostly as an exercise to learn self compassion on my own. (And at the somewhat altered suggestion of my therapist – who suggested I write about self compassion as a way to learn how to do it towards myself)I am hoping this will be a short fic with Simon, Baz and Penny working out some trauma. Though I doubt I will be able to hold off on reading the next book for much longer. I am thankful that Rainbow Rowell has written characters that I relate to well enough to do this exercise.
