If Sora had been sipping on coffee, she might have been the one dumping it all over herself this time. “Nope,” she says, overly-cheerful. Lloyd stares at her for a beat too long and she chuckles nervously. “I, uh- might go check on Arin though. Not- not because he needs to checked-in on, just- doing a nice friendly thing, yep, okay, bye, I’m leaving now.” She slips out of her chair and dashes out of the kitchen. She scowls, smacking the side of her head as soon as she’s out of sight and speed-walking down some hallway she doesn’t find familiar.
Idiot, now he’ll definitely be suspicious.

Arin and Sora have just recently moved into the Monastery. Arin tries to find the kitchen and walks in with Lloyd without his shirt on. He notices that Lloyd has a lot of scars and Lloyd tells him the stories of his scars.
The og one shot was written by me in 2023, this is the same, but I added a little to it and the grammar is WAYY better.

Arin shifts, looking down at his hands and tugging at his sleeves. “Why… Why are you helping me?” He says slowly and softly.
Agent Walker tenses a little bit, he tilts his head and smiles. “Truthfully?” He asks, sitting up straighter and looking at Arin, keeping his friendly gaze. “You remind me of someone I think I used to know.”

Arin accidentally has a breakdown in some poor guys office, this guy seems weirdly familiar, though, and tries doing everything he can to help. Similarly, Agent Walker sees some poor kid have a meltdown in his office, and tries to help because he keeps being reminded of some kid in a black hoodie with blond hair.
