Peter had agreed to join the Avengers - and with him, the initiative was expanded with a bunch of additional heros. Among them? Loki.While maybe well intentioned (or at least, not immediately interested in taking over the world), Loki is still the god of mischief - and no mere mortal ought to tell him what to do. And certainly, not a pompous ass like Stark was one.
Clearly, that meant skipping the introductory meetings, team building exercises, group training... And when he runs into a pretty thing, far younger than any of the other Avengers - it is only natural for him to assume that the boy is just part of the entertainment.
