“In answer to your questions, you’re in St. Bart’s. You were brought here after being found in the sewers under the Garrideb house in Paddington, and you’ve been in a coma for just over a week.”
A week? It’d been bad then. He’d known that though, hadn’t he, when he’d been lying in the sewers bleeding. It was coming back now, though mostly in flashes. He remembered the cold and the dark, dying alone, then a vague memory of Sherlock calling his name, Sherlock holding his hand, Mariana crying, lights and sirens, then— nothing. A whole week of nothing apparently. The man was still speaking. John forced his attention back to his words.
“I’m… a friend. Sherlock and Mariana had some errands to run, so Sherlock asked me to wait here in his stead until they return. They’ll be back as soon as they can, so you needn’t worry. Just rest for now.”

Summary
The first time, it was an accident.
He’d started telling Esteban a story, as he slowly walked back and forth across the room, because Carlos had told Cecil that Esteban liked listening to him on the radio, and that playing his show for their son often helped Carlos settle him down for a nap. His radio cadence was easy to slip into, and his exhaustion-muddled brain didn’t even register that he’d just started a traffic report until he was halfway through it. His son was still wailing, but at this point Cecil was out of ideas, so he just kept softly talking as he rubbed Esteban’s back and hoped eventually it would help, or at least he would tire himself out.
“And now, the Weather.”

He wasn’t sure how long he was at it before he finally heard Cecil’s beautiful voice come through the speaker on his hip with his customary introduction. Carlos felt his whole body relax as he let his husband’s voice wash over him.
And then Cecil started talking about mirrors, and Carlos froze.

Summary
Pulling his knees up to his chest, he rubbed his eyes and realized they were damp. Was he fucking crying about this? Why here? Why now? He took a shuddering breath in and it came out as a sob.
He stilled, listening. The water was still running in the bathroom. He had a few minutes at least.
Blitzø covered his mouth with his hand to muffle his sobs, and buried his face in his knees. He wrapped his tail around himself, and allowed himself one moment of weakness while no one was there to see him.
It would be quick, and he would get this all out of his system, and Stolas and Loona would never have to find out.

“But I needed to see you,” Fizzarolli finished, slightly muffled as he buried his face in Blitzø’s shoulder. “Now.”

Blitzø and Stolas are both in need of some comfort after the trial. Fizz and Ozzie step in to fill the gaps.

Summary
After an arduous battle with a gunshot wound and enteric fever, Captain John Watson is finally returning to London. In retrospect, the surgeons at the base hospital should have kept him a few more weeks, because it's a rather weak Watson that staggers off the ship. He expects no one to greet his arrival - after all, he left England with no close connections to friends or family. Such is his surprise when he finds that someone is waiting for him at the pier: a brilliant and eccentric old friend from medical school, Sherlock Holmes.
