Watching him fly off Willow was suddenly struck by just what exactly he'd said. Her head cocked to the side and her eyebrows furrowed as her face shifted into a confused pout. She turned to Gus standing next to her the uncertainty obvious in her voice.
"Wait. Was Hunter just flirting with me?"

Thorin doesn’t know Bilbo’s first name and it’s about him stumbling through the entire journey trying to learn Bilbo’s name along with an equally clueless Dwalin and a mischievous Kili and Fili. Honestly this entire thing was so perfect and spot on...god I wish this was canon. I can’t even put out a favorite quote because I have too many to list. It’s extremely in character and of course it’d be the thing that’d happen to Thorin. I wish to hug this fic that’s how much I love it.

I absolutely loved this. We don’t often see the vulnerable side of Vegeta and how often we forget that so many people saw what he did and know what he’s done. But this was sweet and written out so perfectly I wish it was canon. Vegeta admitting his fears outloud to another person, even his son, and showing that he’d never give up his son...it hits hard.
