They say that people have been trying for hundreds of years to steal that magic, but have never prevailed. People have tried killing dragons, trapping them, dissecting them, even training them. all in search of containing this power.

There was a man in Jonathan’s office.
Or at the very least, Jon assumed it was a man. It was rather difficult to assume the gender of someone who looked rather androgynous; the roman-style helmet covering their face not doing much to help that matter. Half-covered in a tattered crimson shawl, he almost looked the part of some ancient soldier.
The man stalked forward smoothly and with purpose, shifting his weight on the balls of his feet as if to avoid the creaking floorboard that he should not have been privy to the knowledge of.
“I’m here to give a statement,” the man said.
