Eliana leads an unassuming existence. Life has dealt her bad hand after bad hand, and all she can muster the energy to do these days is eat takeout dinners, play video games, and work to pay her bills. She can't recall the last time she saw one of her close friends, and the only long-term relationship she's had in the last three years is with her Door Dash delivery driver.
Now, she's dead. Her life is over with nothing to show for it. At least, that's what she thinks. But if that were the case, who is this man, and where did she actually end up? Stranded with no money, no phone, and no idea where she is, Eliana has no choice but to rely on the one who found her to guide her way through the universe and help her get back home.
Is there even a life or a home worth going back to? And if there is, why was she suddenly ripped away from everything she knew and cared about only to wind up here?

Summary
Reality is the worst wake up call. I would have rather stayed inside a dream, with my ex not missing, and my back unmarred by additional feathery appendages. Instead I was stuck in an entirely new cyberpunk-ish world, with thieves trying to infiltrate the shadow government, an entire town gone missing, and nothing to show for it. At least I ended up scamming some insurance company so I didn't have to worry about money.

This work assumes that the reader knows canon beat to beat as it focuses on the missing scenes, filling in the gaps, and building new stuff on top of the canon story.

She had won...but at what cost? She had killed her beloved in her ignorance and now she slew a friend who didn’t remember her until his final moments─and that’s to say nothing of the other three she had killed so long ago. Her tears wouldn’t stop as she clutched the crystals close to her chest, crying for forgiveness and silently wishing for anyone listening up there in the heavens to let her go back knowing all she knows now, to let her save her dearly beloved. To give her the chance to at least try to alter their fate.
And much to her surprise, the heavens listened and answered her cries.
