As the tags say: Bit of a Frankenstein parody! I wrote this for a Halloween Prompt. I plan to continue this and play heavily with German Mythology (which I will add as a fandom). Currently marked as complete since it was written as a one-shot, so anything else I add to it is more like a sequel.
Semi-popular jock boy is tutored by the weird German kid. Silliness ensues. However, a revenge plan by an ex-best friend is brewing...

Summary
In a world where certain major events played out differently, humans have evolved into a species known as Bakemono, anthropomorphic animals. Meanwhile, insects grew to replace the absent real animals.
The book follows a group of 5 Wolf Bakemono siblings: Nick, Addie, Matt, Theo, and Tommy, who've spent nearly their whole lives in a house in the woods with their adoptive father. Til one night, choices are made, rules are broken, and a teenager's rebellious curiosity gets the best of him.
This begins a domino effect. The kids go on a multitude of adventures away from home and travel further out of what's familiar. Between fighting a criminal underworld, investigating the context of their mysterious adoption, facing the supernatural/paranormal side of their already complicated lives, and exploring the outside world that suddenly doesn't seem so foreign, they grow as people and change with time, like everyone does. Experiencing more and more... For better, or for worse.
