Summary
“Oh - no, no, you can’t do that!”
Crowley grins manically at the angel, feeling drunk on the sudden onslaught of possibilities, and sure that his yellow eyes are glowing unnervingly.
“Oh, yes, we can,” he growls, before offering the book and pen to him. “Do you want to write it?”
But Aziraphale is still shaking his head.
“No, no, I - of course, we can, apparently,” he stutters. “But what I mean is - Crowley, we can’t summon Her without a plan, first!”
OR: Aziraphale thinks ahead, Crowley has feelings, & Fell the Marvelous gives an encore performance…that just might save the world.

Summary
Crowley and Aziraphale never prevented Armageddon. they never even had the chance. They’ve spent their time on earth all too aware of the other’s existence, but never exchanging a word.
Now, heaven and hell have wiped each other out and the world has been left a ruined mess. When the strange demon Aziraphale has been hopelessly pining after for millennia appears in his living room, eager to strike up a deal, they discover they have a lot more in common than either could have imagined.

Summary
The first time he picked up his telephone and didn't hear Joan or one of the other ladies greet him, he just rolled his eyes, assumed they were cross with him, and firmly asked for the shop he was trying to connect to into the receiver like normal. He even said please! And the thing about being a being of considerable occult power with a history of shaping parts of the universe is that, sometimes, the world bends to oblige you.
So, the only thing that surprised him about Fell answering the line in response to his demand for "an expert on ancient greek and roman preparations of oysters" was that they'd made long-distance calls considerably less bothersome at some point.
OR
Crowley is a big fan of technology but has zero idea how it works, which leads to him developing an unlikely friendship with a fussy bookseller who happens to be an expert on a miraculous number of subjects.

Summary
When they came, they came for Aziraphale.
In retrospect, they probably should not have given Crowley quite so much time to prepare.

Summary
Aziraphale was thankful Crowley was nowhere to be seen. He would never let Aziraphale live this down. Bestowing a kiss upon the winner of a tourney? Crowley would surely mock him for years to come.
