“I want to go home,” The glowing red soul begged. “Please let me go home Kris.”
Kris said nothing. They’ve done this conversation so many times that he had lost count.
“I’ve done everything you wanted. Please let me leave.”
Kris tried to sigh, but only let out a pained groan. As much as he hated having someone else take control of his entire person, without the soul he could die. But he couldn’t help but feel a stab of pity as he reached for the glowing red soul in the now open cage, who tried to escape his grab and flee towards the door. “I’m sorry. You know I can’t live without you.”
