Ace looks around wildly before he awkwardly chuckles, running a hand through his hair distractedly. “Uh, y’know April Fool’s Day isn’t for like, months, right Deucey?”
Deuce puffs out his cheeks a bit, his sharp eyebrows furrowing as he turns back to face his own bed in embarrassment. “Yes! I know that! I-I was only suggesting it cause I thought it might help.”

Jamil looked about ten years older, clearly a grown man where just two hours before he was only seventeen. His hair was tied back in one messy braid and thrown over his shoulder. His clothes were drastically different too, bolder and more fashionable than what the servant usually let himself wear.
