Summary
The battle between Midrealm (a false heaven for souls of the damned) and Hell (a realm where the most diabolical monstrosities roam) has raged on for thousands of years. But over time, Midrealm has bleed into earthly soil, spreading its disease towards humanity in an attempt to gain more soldiers. Of course, when your opponent plays dirty, you play dirtier. Now Hell has begun placing its own spawn on earth, using them to killing off as many humans as possible to limit Midrealm’s spread.
Two human men find themselves in the crux of this battle. Their fates align, destined to fight and kill one another. However, humanity has its way of sneaking these gruesome events. Tainting them with emotions that cloud their better judgement.
Will they become no more than pawns in their masters’ endless war for power? Die by one another’s hands? Or will they somehow manage to break the chains of their fate and allow mortal emotions become their new master?

And he smiled—wild, like the thought actually pleased him.

Jack didn’t hesitate.
Didn’t even process it.
He lunged.
Their mouths collided in another brutal kiss—no build-up, no warning. Just teeth crashing and lips splitting, tongue forcing its way past Jeff’s lips like punishment. Jack’s hands were on Jeff’s sides now, dragging upward, slow and reverent, like he was touching something holy and unholy all at once.
“Do it,” Jack snarled into his mouth, voice ruined and raw and needy. “Fucking stab me.”

Or! Jeff and Jack get into an argument during the car ride back, and instead of talking it out like mature adults they instead decide to fuck.

The man was still for a while, watching Toby as if the boy were a wounded animal. This guy didn’t seem too dangerous, he was bigger than Toby, sure, but Toby was a fast runner. The ugly side burns also didn’t necessarily scream “danger” all that much, either.
The boy narrowed his eyes at the man, his hand tightening around a hatchet, and eyebrows furrowing as he looked down at it. Why does he have this, and is this blood that it’s covered in? There was another one on the ground next to him too. He didn’t even realize he was carrying these. The man’s gaze followed Toby’s, and quickly raised his hands in mock surrender, stepping out from behind the tree.
“What the hell happened to you, kid?”

Summary
He doesn’t want to disturb this little atmosphere of peace that settles over them — Katsuki’s not crying, anymore, seemingly content to play with the stray fibres on Dabi’s coat, but Dabi doesn’t miss the shudder that runs down his back.
He leans down a little further, lips ghosting the shell of the blond’s ear.
“I’ll protect you, darling,” he murmurs, low and careful and probably sounding damn breathless if the way his heart’s thumping is any indication. “I don’t break my promises, remember?”
Katsuki shuffles his feet, his fingers tighten their hold in Dabi’s clothes with a kind of tension that doesn’t seem particularly unwelcome. A pretty little flush spreads over his cheeks, and he moves his head to look up into Dabi’s eyes.
“Pinkie promise?” He sounds so hopeful, bright eyes glistening. So innocent.
Dabi chuckles, gently, runs a hand through blond hair and watches the boy’s eyes slide to a close, the way he pushes back into the touch seemingly subconsciously. “Sure, angel. Pinkie promise.”
In which Katsuki learns villains aren't always the bad guys, and Dabi finally finds something worth protecting.
