Summary
Vi shook her head as she scrolled, trying to clear the sting of the loss and the twisting, heated memory of Caitlyn’s form against her rattling around in her brain.
It didn’t work.
It never worked.
Vi still remembered their first fight clearly, even years later.
The image of Caitlyn walking into the ring was still fresh in her mind: the shocking blue of her eyes sparking under the bright lights, her body slender, but muscled, her angular face stoic and focused, her mouth a harsh line across her face.
Vi had been worried she was going to snap her in half.
She scoffed as she remembered just how fucking wrong she’d been.
Caitlyn had wiped the floor with her. She’d had to work for it - a change from her other fights, Vi found out later - but she had.
After that, her training regimen was pretty much exclusively focused on beating Caitlyn.
She hated losing.

She keeps tracing her finger along Vi’s face, tracing her brows and sharp cheekbones, stroking down her -only recently- full cheeks, brushing over the kissable scar above her lips and the swell of her lips. Her lips follow the same path her fingertip went on leniently, pressing tender pecks over the scar on Vi’s eyebrow, the tattoo on her cheek, over her freckles, the tip of her nose and right on the scar above her lips, yet skipping where she wants to linger on the most. A beatific smile finds its way to her face as a thought passes through her mind. She no longer needs to imagine how it would feel if it were the touch of her lips caressing Vi’s face instead of her hand.
