Bruce came to hate Death-Cast some years into his vigilante career. So what if he wasn't going to die in the next 24–21 hours? He could very well still die at the 25th hour and never know if they didn't call on time.
They didn't call him on time for Jason.
Still, as soon as the clock hit midnight, dread would settle in his stomach and wouldn't leave until it was well past 3. He would never admit that, of course, and with his vigilante activities, some days those three hours passed almost unnoticed.
Death-Cast didn't call Bruce Wayne today. No, that would be too blissful.

Summary
Melinoë’s victory over Chronos was supposed to bring her family back, not erase her brother.
Upon waking, the Princess of the Underworld finds herself split between two lives. The first set of memories belongs to the Witch Melinoë, trained by Hecate at the Crossroads, whose sole purpose was to defeat the Titan. “We don’t need to do anything!” Peter cut him off through gritted teeth. “You don’t need to do anything! This wouldn’t have happened if you left me alone! You’ve done enough, Nightwing!”
Nightwing froze. Peter forced himself up, walking around the vigilante.
“Peter– wait–” Nightwing snapped out of his shock. He turned to Peter and almost reached for his injured arm– but the boy immediately recoiled. Dick realised his mistake, and his hand simply hovered.
“Don’t fucking touch me.” Peter spat with pure venom. “You’ve done enough.”

The adjustment hasn't been easy for anybody. Just over a month after Markus' successful revolution, and things are starting to go back to normal in Detroit. No one's holding back on their holiday celebrations. They all need the distraction.
It's Connor's first Christmas at the DPD, and most of the precinct's quickly changed their tune about the android; Fowler even invited him to the annual Christmas party. Presents, carols, and holiday spirit abound! Connor thinks he's starting to enjoy himself.
Of course, the resident Scrooge, Gavin Reed, has to get in the way of all that.
