Tommy didn’t know what he thought the afterlife was going to be like, hell he didn’t even know if it was a real thing. Maybe he’d see Wilbur, possibly Schlatt, but he didn’t expect to see a white castle and Karl.
Or where Tommy looses his final life to Dream in the prison only to be teleported back in time.
OR where Tommy is given a second chance and isn't going to blow it, not even if things start to get revealed (things that change everything) and discoveries are made.
This whole book has TW's: Child abuse, violence/murder, gore/blood, implied/referenced suicide, suicide, drinking, etc.

Summary
Tommy has always felt pulled towards witchcraft. The warm tingling in his hands whenever he got into contact with anything even remotely magic, his constant urge to collect trinkets and clutter and his wild dreams were just examples for that. You could say he was born for it. But witchcraft is frowned upon and the only people who were allowed to tend to it properly were the witches of the Academy.
That doesn't stop Tommy from dipping his toes into the matter, in the most chaotic and dangerous ways possible.
Or: Tommy's shitty altar and feral behaviour catch some unwanted attention of the rest of the SBI.

Summary
“Not without Tommy, I’m afraid.” Dream says, his voice still even and horribly, horribly calm. Sapnap turns slightly, looking back at him. Tommy is frozen, unable to form a single syllable in his unyielding fear. His heart beats faster with each step Dream takes, like a great wolf closing in on its helpless prey. He is helpless, he can’t do anything to stop him from hurting him he’ll just take him away–
Sapnap meets his gaze, understanding suddenly rippling through his expression. Tommy realizes that he does not have to explain his paralyzing terror. Because Sapnap can see it, he knows. And he has no love for Dream, he has no reason to help him.
“No.” Sapnap says curtly, turning back to Dream. “He’s on Kinoko land, he’s under our protection.”

TLDR; After being saved from his tormentor by Sapnap, Tommy is given refuge (and maybe a family) in Kinoko Kingdom. Trauma talks over chocolate milk at midnight ensue.
(Meanwhile, too many are people are out for revenge).

And it’s… well, at first Techno thinks it's a human. He’s got rounded cheeks and a small button nose, mouth wide open and yelling. He’s waving his arms around angrily, tiny fingers clenched into a fist. But then Techno looks slightly up, and he can see the pointed, furry ears sticking out from his unruly blond hair. Techno shifts the boy to the side and he can see a tail.
“–me go, you bitch! Fuck you! Let me go!”
A little warrior, Techno thinks as the boy kicks and curses in his fist. Runt, his mind screams, looking at just how small the boy is in his hands.

Werewolf Tommy is abandoned by his pack. Vampire SBI decide to take him in (only until they find someone else to care for him. They won't get attached-right?)

Techno finds a raccoon child in need of help, so he decides to at least take him home to make sure he doesn't die. (he might have gotten attached)

Tommy didn't mean to get stabbed, really. Now he's gotta put up with some piglin guy trying to feed him some mushroom soup. (maybe he's not so bad?)
.Or Tommy and Techno find each other in desperate times, and maybe friendship (family?) might be the solution to their problems.
