    Todoroki blinked in silence, reassessing what he had probably assumed was shared information between the two of them.
    "Yes." He said. "There was a welcome back thing, I was actually surprised you weren't there."
    It was pretty clear why he had not been there.
    They had drifted. That was the right word for it: Drifted.

    When a UA student goes missing, GEMGD Agency gets assigned to his rescue, with Katsuki leading the operation and Izuku appointed as faculty expert. Now forced to work together, the feelings Katsuki thought he had buried resurface in the most unhealthy way possible.

    "Are you sleeping with him?"
    "So I'm sleeping with him, Mina. Why the fuck do you care?"
    "Tell me how this is different, Katsuki. Tell me how drinking until you pass out, training past your limit, taking every patrol shift available is different from three years ago, because from where I'm standing it looks exactly the same. Except now there's also this."
