This takes place in an alternate universe of the game OMORI. In this AU, after Sunny wakes up in the hospital, he tells the others that there is something important on his laptop that they all need to see and he will be leaving as soon as they find out the truth behind Mari's death. The group's confusion only grows the very next day when they boot up Sunny's laptop and discover a program... A program called 'OMORI’.

Summary
“We can’t leave her here.” It was the only thing Sunny was sure of. Her body couldn’t stay here, because if it did, right where he’d been standing side by side with her…then that could only mean that maybe he did deserve to go. Maybe he had done this. He couldn’t take the thought.
“Okay, so…some other way.” Basil nodded his head, slowly getting to his feet. He extended a hand, and Sunny took it. He pulled himself to his feet, adrenaline and Basil’s hand the only things keeping him standing. “What do we—do we hide her body? How can we—does your dad have shovels? In the garage, maybe? Or—or a shed? Where’s the tools he built for the treehouse?—”
The idea struck them both at the same time. Their eyes locked.The treehouse. The tree.
Branches. And a rope.
That’s all that they would need.
