Summary
With Las Noches being rebuilt and the wounds left by the Blood War slowly mending, Grimmjow ventures into the Living World to seek out Kurosaki Ichigo, and demand the rematch he had been promised. When he arrives however, he finds that not only is Kurosaki not there, but he has disappeared from the public eye entirely; an imposter going around wearing his human skin in his stead.
Unable to let matters lie, Grimmjow goes to seek answers, only to be dragged into a rather more fantastical adventure than he had bargained for...

“No shit,” Grimmjow growls, fangs out and desperate, panting hard. That same powerful scent that calmed Ichigo earlier rises chaotically, making his nostrils flare. Oh, Ichigo realises. That’s Grimmjow’s scent. Probably reacting to his own.

Summary
Post Yhwach Battle Ichigo performs an illegal kido to save Grimmjow’s life. Not fully realizing the meaning of the soul binding ritual until it’s too late, Ichigo finds himself in a political minefield when various undead parties are not comfortable with the previously neutral shinigami/quincy/hollow/human suddenly and clearly taking a side, all the while his antagonistic relationship with Grimmjow takes on a new life altering context.
