    Summary

Ever since the advent of glass windows, there have been accompanying superstitions about the birds that almost immediately began flying straight into them. One of said superstitions being, of course, that a bird flying into your window meant that a child was on its way.

    ***

After Aziraphale leaves for Heaven, and likewise leaves Crowley's heart in fractured pieces, Crowley drives and drives until he reaches the end of the world. He gets drunk. He finds an abandoned cottage and gets drunk some more. He fixes it up, begins living the human way, and waits for the Second Coming. Figures he may as well enjoy it all while he can.

Everything changes, however, when a falling star crashes through his window, and leaves a pigeon on his rug.
