Summary
“I’m not yours,” Eddie says, pushing Buck softly away. “I’m not- I’m just your coparent, got it? I’m not fit to be an omega homemaker.”
Buck blinks, his lips parting in surprise. “You’re carrying my kid.”
“I know,” Eddie says firmly. “But I will not be claimed out of some sort of pity or obligation. You will be in our kids life as their Dad and that’s it. Not my Alpha or my mate or anything more than a coparent.”
Buck clears his throat, drawing his hands back from where they were resting on Eddie’s hip and stomach. “That’s what you want?”
No.
“That’s what I want.”
Buck’s face shuts down and he nods. “Okay. That’s… fine. We can just coparent.”

Summary
In a world where Crassus Snow is still alive, life is anything but easier for Coriolanus Snow. He continues to battle poverty, maintain his carefully curated image, and—on top of it all—endure his father’s latest scheme: arranged marriages. Coriolanus is expected to marry Livia Cardew, a girl he despises, while his cousin Tigris is to be paired with Sejanus Plinth—the boy Coriolanus despises… but could just as easily come to love.
***
During cold, long nights, Coriolanus Crassus Snow remembers the Dark Days. The missiles. The bombings. His mother’s blood. Hunger. Thirst. Corpses in the streets. The cold in his fingers and in his bones. The silence after the screaming. This is what hell on earth looks like—there’s no doubt about it. Humanity in its truest form, as Dr. Gaul, that terrifying woman with her mad eyes, would say.
Yet sometimes, Coriolanus Snow dreams that the Dark Days return—because then he could shoot his father without any consequences.
