The candlelight trembles. It casts long shadows around the room. Joker is all but engulfed in one such shivering silhouette, completely eclipsed by it. Soon, that darkness will lay its hands on him again, and the sole anticipation of it gnaws at his insides, like a small animal trapped in his viscera, desperately clawing through soft tissue to get out.
In the shadows of the bedroom, he can almost make out the lovely visage of his darling.

Summary
Batman tries to get Joker to give him information on the whereabouts of some weapons. Instead of cooperating, he delivers an Oscar-worthy monologue about Batman's alleged feelings for him.

“The rot in me,” he whispers, “recognizes the rot in you.” -

Summary
Maybe it’s not about trust either. It could be just control. The dangerous dance on the edge of annihilation; her absolute surrender, his half-hearted cruelty. And Harley likes it that way, even if it’s not always fun.
Or, despite her attempt at leaving Joker, Harley finds herself drawn back to him and desperate to mend their relationship. Joker's creativity knows no bounds and so he turns their reunion into a public spectacle.

Dottore hummed in acknowledgement, eyes following Ajax cry soundlessly. He stopped his restless marching when he was behind Ajax’s back. He reached for his handcuffs and unlocked them. They felt heavy in his hands, and he could only imagine the kind of anguish that was stirring the boy from the inside. Delightful.

Kunikuzushi glared at him playfully, pretending to be oh so angry at Dottore. Deep down, all he was craving for was the man’s attention and affection and the gentle touches made his skin buzz with excitement.

In which Dottore works too hard on his research and Kunikuzushi doesn't like how he's neglecting himself.
(This is a pre-harbinger Scaramouche, but he's still in the Fatui. He's supposed to be Dottore's subordinate/assistant/project and the two spend a lot of time together. Dottore is actually quite sweet in this one and Scaramouche has a cute nickname for him.)
