Summary
Something was wrong. A wave of protectiveness swept up within him before he stamped on it hard, unleashing a powerful strike at the goal on the assist automatically. He didn’t even bother to look to see if it went in, his eyes reorienting themself to where Hollander was shrugging off a medic.
It was his Dom side, he knew. Latching onto someone it thought was his and wanting to save them from the world. But Hollander wasn’t his. He was a fun hook up, and interesting company once you got to know him a bit, but not his.
Ilya hasn't seen Hollander since Vegas, and the first time they meet on the ice, months later, Hollander's playing is awful. Ilya's a Dom, a high level one, but as far as he knows Hollander's a Null, no designation. Doesn't need headspace. Doesn't Scene. Doesn't Drop.
But Hollander is Dropping. Has Dropped. And no one else seems to notice. So Ilya steps in without really thinking things through.

Summary
It has now been a month since the Ottawa Centaurs plane disappeared in the Appalachians. The weather has made search and recovery almost impossible, with no sight of the plane or any of the players and officials. With the weather worsening, the NHL has put out a statement saying that the victims, including star center Ilya Rozanov, are missing, presumed dead. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their family and friends during this time. The search continues.
The Centaurs plane has crashed, and it's been a month with no news. Shane navigates his grief, while a man with blonde curls and ice blue eyes calling himself Troy navigates a world he does not remember.

Summary
Shane Hollander has built himself around routine, his life blood is hockey. Struggling to understand his team off the ice and the people around him, he carves out a few silent hours to himself. It's just him and his skates. But the hard fought peace is fragile, like cracks in too thin ice. It only takes a slight impact to shatter. Shane is fighting to hold his team and himself together as everything comes crashing down around him.
Someone hacks into Rose Landry's phone in a club, they then release the images of Shane's texts online and all hell breaks loose. Shane is left to pick up the pieces. Ilya makes some choices in the aftermath that change everything. Shane decides to stop hiding and Ilya is a possessive asshole who makes it everyone else's problem. With far less reason to hide himself anymore, Shane begins to show more of who he really is behind the polite, media worthy façade. They instead find a team who are ready to fight the world for each other and a found family that has far reaching threads.
Maybe Shane can have both Hockey and Ilya. The world will just have to deal with it.

Shane Hollander got injured in a Montreal - Boston game. On his way to see Shane at the hospital, Ilya realized that as far as everyone knew, he was Shane's archrival and wasn't welcome anywhere near Shane. For a man who didn't blush (is lie, liar told you that) and rarely cried, would Ilya be able to mask his emotions when he set foot inside the hospital?

Summary
Shane was an omega, or he was going to be, his test results were clear on that fact. It wasn't technically the end of the world, omegas were technically allowed in the MHL, but there were rules. Rules for safety. Rules like having to be mated. So he needed to suck it up, socialise and find an alpha who was willing to mate an eighteen year old who wanted to play ice hockey, a sport known for it's tendency to land players in hospital with permanent dissabilities.
Enter Ilya Rozanov, an Epa alpha who made the unusualness of Shane's male omega status practically normal by comparison. But they had something in common, a frustrating safety rule barring them both entry to the MHL without a mating bond. Someone really should have thought that one through before letting two young dumb teenagers make one of the biggest decisions of their lives for the love of hockey.Bookmarked by Bloodweaver

So he had told himself to suck it up and had broached the subject with Ilya when they both sat down to lunch.
It had, quite frankly, been a fucking disaster.

After enduring years of abuse at the hands of his doms, Ilya has no reason to trust that Shane Hollander will be any different. If it was up to him, he would never have to submit to another dom ever again, would never again have to endure the pain and humiliation of a scene. But it's not up to him, so he will grit his teeth and endure Hollanders attentions anyway.Shane is simply trying his best.
