Summary
There was a man in the field. For a moment, Ronan’s brain didn’t process the shape because it’s not supposed to be there. Like a tree fallen across the road, or a large spider motionless on the wall, a man in a tattered shirt was standing in the pasture between the green black void of the forest, and the backyard of the Barns.
A stranger appears at the Barns, just looking for a ride to town. And some beer. And some money for the bus, probably.

Summary
Zeke and the Commander are similar in many regards. The Commander is intelligent; the Commander is a Titan shifter; the Commander has his own Ackerman - perhaps he and Zeke will be alike in that respect someday, too.
Although, if Zeke were to have it his way, he would take the Commander’s Ackerman for himself. It would not be something they would share.

Summary
None of this was new to them yet, but it still felt momentous because this was a Neil who was his, who’d let him claim him in front of his family and his teammates, who’d been wearing his clothes and his marks for months on end now and who was delighted at the thought of Andrew wanting a future with him permanently, semantically synonymous with forever, a much too scary word for now, but maybe not in the future.
Future.
Andrew’d never thought he could have something like that, hadn’t really planned to make it past thirteen and now here he was, he was an adult, he was safe, he was in his own bed in his own home with a man who would quite literally die for him, who he was planning a future with. He’d never planned for this, had nowhere to store it in his mind, in his body, so he put it into Neil instead.Bookmarked by BloodInTheMachine
