Summary
Charlie Dalgleish is an extremely active member of the local Catholic church. He attends youth group, never misses a mass, helps with recruitment for the church’s different causes, and even does physical labor on the church grounds. His faith is extremely strong but he's never been the best at making friends, so his life still feels somewhat empty. That is until he’s forced to interact with a delinquent who’s performing involuntary community service at the church.
Upon their first meeting, it's clear that the ne'er-do-well leads a life that is unfathomably different to Charlie's. So different, in fact, that the devout catholic feels a strange need to learn more.
