'Buck takes in a sharp breath, letting the tension bleed out of his body as he takes Eddie's words to heart. Slowly, his fangs recede, but he knows his eyes are still glowing...that usually happens if he hurts himself. “Get me the hell out of here,” Buck states. If they don’t get him out of the vicinity quickly, he would lose it again...there was so much blood after the bombing...he wasn’t sure he could hold on too long before the blood made him slip back into survival mode...and he’d end up hurting Hen or Chim or Eddie...and he wouldn’t forgive himself.'
